About Cat

After graduating from Santa Clara University, Cat joined the buying office of a large national retailer. It was during her tenure here that Cat first developed a fascination with impeccable customer service.  It was such an integral part of the company culture that Tom Peters wrote about it in his book, In Search of Excellence.  In 1997 Cat launched an executive search firm with a passion for providing exemplary service.  For several years she successfully matched companies with high caliber executives and honed her sales, negotiating, and marketing abilities.

Cat’s interest in real estate began early; she purchased her first property before she was twenty-five and turned it two years later at a profit.  In the next few years, she bought and sold several other homes in the area, developing a keen understanding of the Bay Area market.  Acting as General Contractor for the rebuilding of her last home, she established a strong network of plumbers, painters, roofers, HVACs, designers, and skilled craftsmen. Her work attracted the attention of the local press and she was interviewed by the Mercury News for their Home section.  Her experience with her own properties- represented by an agent- paired with her dynamic recruiting skills give Cat a unique vantage point that can help homeowners and buyers successfully navigate the real estate process.

Cat remains an active community volunteer from the peninsula to the South Bay. She has earned a reputation for integrity, diplomacy and a strong work ethic.  Her volunteer efforts include:

  • Bellarmine College Preparatory Fashion Show for Financial Aid Chair, 2014
  • Friends of the Atherton Library Board Member, 2012-present
  • Santa Clara University Alumni Board Member, 2010-2013

  • Atherton Parks & Rec Commissioner, 2002-2004

A Bay Area native, Cat has lived in Atherton for the last eighteen years with her husband Rob and their two boys, Foster and Gavin.  They enjoy walking to Cafe Borrone's with their Chocolate Lab, "Stout."  Cat enjoys an active challenge; she’s even skydived out of a perfectly good plane. She is a certified Rescue SCUBA Diver and enjoys rock climbing.  She can also be found at the driving range or curled up with a really good book.
