About Alan

Alan was born with a unique passion for life. He attended St. Lucy’s and then Archbishop Mitty High. After Graduating from high school, at the age of 19, he started a motorcycle dealership in San Jose called Yamaha of San Jose. During this time he also had a successful professional road racing career in the AMA (#49). He married his wife Michele in 1978, and Upon the birth of his son, Ben, he retired from road racing and decided to become a Realtor in 1988.

He quickly established himself as one of the leading agents in his office and slowly built a team. His wife Michele joined the team in 1998 and quickly saw the family aspect help to grow the business forward. Also, Alan brought his son Ben to help him to learn the trade and the value of hard work. Alan was recruited to assistant manage the Los Gatos Coldwell Banker offices in 2004 due to the knowledge he possessed in real estate and was more than helpful to the more than 175+ agent he helped mentor. Alan became chair for the Silicon Valley Association Realtors Los Gatos/Saratoga District in 2015 and just completed his term. Alan is also a California Association of Realtors Director having a direct impact on laws and policies affecting the state of California and the real estate industry.

When not selling homes Alan rides motorcycle endurance rallies which have taken him all over North America and Canada. The IronButt is home to the “world's toughest riders” and is an 11-day 11,000-mile rally of epic proportions. He is an avid mechanic and does all of his maintenance and modifications. Alan has been featured in prominent enthusiast magazines for his accomplishments and ingenious motorcycle modifications.

Alan enjoys public speaking and is a Dale Carnegie graduate and a member of Toastmasters. Alan has lived in the Santa Cruz mountains with his wife Michele for 40 years.
