Steve Byrd has 34+ years of experience in the real estate industry here in Northern and Central California. This includes sales and marketing of both residential and commercial properties. Since residing in Aptos for 25+ years, Steve has been able to contribute his business expertise to surrounding communities, which has lead to a very successful career. Steve is known in the Santa Cruz area for specializing in ocean view properties and has sold over $50 million of property in the past 3 years.
Steve currently lives with his wife in Aptos. He serves on many homeowners’ boards, including Board of Directors at Seascape Beach Resort Owner’s Association, President of Seascape Meadows Association and President of Seascape Improvement Association. Steve is known throughout the county for his dedication to better the surrounding communities. An avid family man, Steve has two daughters and enjoys playing golf and BBQing with family and friends.
A lifelong resident of Northern California, Steve grew up in the East Bay and graduated from UC Berkeley in 1974. He received his MBA at Golden Gate University in 1975, while working for Reed Stenhouse, an international insurance brokerage firm in San Francisco. At Reed Stenhouse, he placed major Maritime insurance coverage's on the Floor of Lloyds of London.
In 1980, Steve initiated and managed 3 successful real estate limited partnerships in Central California. From 1985 to July 2009, Steve was the Sales Manager at the Holcomb Corporation in Aptos. He was responsible for the sales for each of the housing developments built by the Holcomb Corporation, including the Seascape Beach Resort. In addition, Steve assisted the company with funding for a few of the projects.
Now, Steve is ready to continue his success in the real estate industry and is pleased to have the opportunity to work among other experienced professionals within the Sereno Group.
