Alex H. Wang has been practicing real estate in the Silicon Valley and surrounding Bay Area since 1999. Prior to joining Sereno Group, Alex founded Rainmaker Properties in 2007 -- a premier boutique real estate brokerage based in Palo Alto -- with the goal to move toward a model of smaller business with stronger fidelity to clients, while combining innovative technology and reliable real estate practices to the industry. In 2009 and 2010, the San Jose Business Journal ranked his company and team as one of the top 25 residential real estate companies by gross dollar volume in Silicon Valley.
Alex has also received various industry awards and accolades, including REALTOR Magazine's top "30 Under 30" award in 2006 and is ranked as one of the highest and most reviewed online agents in Silicon Valley. He has been interviewed by the Palo Alto weekly, KRON Channel 4, Fox News, Business Week, Forbes, and has contributed to more than 40 charities at local, national, and global levels.
As an American-born Chinese (ABC), Alex is fluent in Mandarin Chinese. He has lived in Asia for many years and has visited many different regions of the world. Alex's cultural background has helped him better understand and serve clients who share global roots and are looking to enjoy the diverse communities that Silicon Valley and the Bay Area offer. Alex is an alumni of the University of California at Berkeley, and his educational emphasis was in psychology.
Living a well-balanced life is very important to Alex, his wife Lily, and their two children. They are members of their local community church. Alex currently enjoys improvisation and acting. You might find him in the background of a few local bay area commercials. He is also a season-ticket holder for the Warriors, and enjoys playing basketball and rock climbing. |
